Travel tech firm Stay22 has bolstered its leadership team in a bid to manage its growth.

Malcolm Archer has been appointed head of supply, moving from his role of head of sales, which has been filled by new recruit Geordie Kingsbury.

The startup has moved to new offices in Montreal, Canada, to accommodate new employees it has hired off the back of a record performance in the first half of 2025.

Staff numbers have been boosted by 50 per cent.

Since 2023, when Archer joined as head of sales, Stay22 has doubled the size of its commercial team and restructured its sales organisation to support long-term growth.

Its annual recurring revenue has growth from US$5million to US$40 million.

“One of my goals at my new position is to build a new self-sufficient business unit at Stay22 that focuses on expanding our strategic partnerships and on improving the integration timeframe of our solutions,” said Archer.

“Additionally, we will work in diversifying our offering beyond accommodation to include retail and other sectors.”

Kingsbury joins the travel tech company with nearly 15 years of experience in commercial roles, developing sales strategies, managing sales cycles and using insight-data to support business growth.

“What excites me most about joining Stay22 is the chance to be part of a company that is just growing, as well as redefining what affiliate monetization can be,’ he said.
