Zleep Hotel Hamburg Volkspark has officially opened near Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion and Barclays Arena. The property offers a Danish design concept focused on function and simplicity and marks the continued growth of the Zleep Hotels brand in Germany.
“With the opening of the Zleep Hotel Hamburg Volkspark, we are bringing our economy lifestyle brand to one of Europe’s most dynamic cities. With seven hotels now open, we are represented across all segments – from economy to upscale – in Hamburg, further strengthening our position in the local market,” said Dr. Stephan Hungeling, CEO of Steigenberger Hotels GmbH, to which the Zleep Hotels brand belongs.
The hotel features 204 rooms. Guest services include digital check-in terminals, parking and bicycle spaces, a combined reception and bar area and a lobby with lounge seating and a snack bar. A small meeting room and luggage lockers provide additional options for guests.
“At Zleep Hotel Hamburg Volkspark, we combine Scandinavian flair with functional comfort. The lobby’s cozy lounge areas offer space to arrive, work and unwind – whether during the day for co-working or with a refreshing drink after a football match or concert. The hotel is the ideal choice for price-conscious travelers who also value design and a welcoming atmosphere. Our guests can expect quality, simplicity and a sense of home,” said Giuliano Graßmuck, hotel manager of Zleep Hotel Hamburg Volkspark.
The building was designed by Kiskan Kaufmann Architekten and will be certified under the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council. The Eidelstedt S-Bahn station is a ten-minute walk away, and the A7 motorway is reachable in three minutes by car.
This opening marks the second Zleep Hotels location in Germany, following its debut in Frankfurt-Kelsterbach. The brand also operates in Madrid, Prague, Lausanne-Chavannes and Zurich-Kloten, with additional hotels planned in Leipzig, Bern-West and Lucerne-Emmenbrücke.
