Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury has unveiled refreshed interiors and dining spaces influenced by the area’s literary heritage, reflecting the neighbourhood’s association with the early 20th Century Bloomsbury Group of writers, artists and thinkers.
The 317-room hotel, located on Coram Street near Russell Square, has introduced décor and design elements inspired by the creative circle that once defined the district as a hub of British intellectual life.
Guestrooms have been refurbished with warm tones and artwork referencing the Bloomsbury Group, while premium rooms include SMEG minibars stocked with snacks and soft drinks. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature walk-in showers, with barista-made coffee available from the To-Go Bar Café.
The property’s new restaurant – The Artful Critic – also offers a menu of modern British dishes and contributes 50p from every order of fish and chips to industry charity Hospitality Action.
Situated within walking distance of Russell Square, Euston and King’s Cross St Pancras stations, the property provides access to nearby attractions such as the British Museum, Covent Garden and Oxford Street.
Imperial London Hotels has a strategic partnership with IHG Hotels and Resorts to operate Holiday Inn Bloomsbury. Its portfolio includes eight full-service mid-range, boutique, and lifestyle hotels including: Bedford Hotel, Tavistock Hotel, President Hotel, Morton Hotel, Imperial Hotel, Royal National Hotel and City Sleeper at Royal National Hotel.
