A Milanese-inspired venue
Gloria Dublin is modeled on Gloria Osteria in Milan, launched in 2023, and will serve a menu made entirely with ingredients sourced from 170 Italian artisans, including burrata from Salvatore Montrone in Puglia and 22-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano from Paolo Gennari.
The restaurant will have 180 seats and a 22-seat private dining room. Studio Kiki, Big Mamma’s in-house design team, has restored the nineteenth-century building with Italian timber joinery, Jacopo Foggini chandeliers, and a ten-meter-long Rosso Levanto marble bar.
Focus on culinary experience
Head chef Davide Migallo will present a menu combining Italian classics and creative twists. The curated drinks menu features offerings such as the Poker Negroni and Brunello di Montalcino or Barbaresco wines.
“Dublin is a city I love, as it reminds us Italians of home, its strong sense of community and vibrant restaurant culture, which we hope to contribute to with the beautiful Gloria Osteria. After opening Gloria in Milan in 2023, we knew we had something special. We are now hugely excited to bring this elegant restaurant to Dublin, with a menu of great Italian classics and creative twists.” – Enrico Pireddu, Co-Managing Director, Big Mamma
Expanding a European network
Founded in 2015 by Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux, Big Mamma has opened 30 trattorias in seven countries and a 4,500 sqm food market, La Felicità, in Paris.

The year 2025 has been particularly active for the group, with the opening of another Gloria Osteria in Barcelona, followed by expansion into the United Kingdom with a new restaurant in Manchester and a sixth location in London.
