Maine Course Hospitality Group has acquired the Homewood Suites by Hilton Saratoga Springs in New York. The company, based in Freeport, Maine, now owns 27 hotels.
The hotel includes 113 suites suited for short or extended stays. Its location near Saratoga Race Course, downtown Saratoga Springs and Skidmore College positions it for a mix of guest demand. Amenities include in-room kitchens, breakfast service, evening socials, a fitness center and an indoor pool.
“We are extremely pleased to add our 27th hotel to the Maine Course portfolio,” said Sean Riley, CEO of Maine Course Hospitality Group. “This award-winning brand fits perfectly with our family of hotels, which includes three properties in Albany, New York. Saratoga Springs is a community we have wanted to be a part of for many years, and we look forward to making a positive impact within this community.”
“Saratoga Springs fits our focus on quality properties in strong markets. We are excited to add another Homewood Suites, a proven premium brand, with a talented team that has delivered outstanding results for many years now, to our growing portfolio of hotels,” said Jonathan D. Bogatay, president of MCHG.
The acquisition expands the company’s footprint across New England, the Mid-Atlantic and Florida as it continues to invest in new properties and develop its third-party management division.
