WINNER: Club Med Gregolimano (Greece)
After a two-year renovation and expansion, Club Med Gregolimano reopened in June 2024 as a flagship resort for the Mediterranean. Located on the island of Evia between sea and pine forest, the resort now features 334 rooms, a new adults-only Zen pool, yoga by Heberson, a Sothys wellness area, and enhanced family and sport facilities. Designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, the interiors reflect Greek light and nature. The project emphasizes sustainability with solar panels, green roofs, and local partnerships. Celebrated with an international inauguration in October 2024, Gregolimano stands as a model of premium, eco-conscious, and intergenerational all-inclusive travel.

FINALIST: Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles
Reopened in June 2025 after a USD 80 million renovation, Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles Resort emerges as a vibrant, sustainable destination on Mahé’s west coast. The redesigned property features 192 tropical-inspired rooms and suites, seven restaurants and bars, a new AvaniSpa, and AvaniFit facilities. The project emphasizes Seychellois culture through local design and guest rituals such as the “Kraken’s Embrace” cocktail and the blowing of the conch shell. Environmental initiatives include the “Wetlands Pledge” with the Ministry of Environment and plastic recycling partnerships with SeyTreasure. This transformation repositions Avani+ Barbarons as a modern, community-minded resort balancing elegance, ecology, and island authenticity.

FINALIST: The St. Regis Le Morne, Mauritius
Rebranded in May 2025, The St. Regis Le Morne stands at the foot of the UNESCO-listed mountain that gives it its name, offering 172 suites and bespoke Butler Service in a reimagined setting of colonial elegance and modern refinement. The resort combines five signature restaurants, holistic wellness rituals such as the “Exquisite Bath Experience,” and immersive cultural touchpoints including “Sabrage at Sunset.” Sustainability is woven into every element, from locally sourced cuisine to plastic-free operations and Green Key certification. Blending tradition and contemporary sophistication, The St. Regis Le Morne redefines luxury hospitality on Mauritius as “The Best Address in the Indian Ocean.”
