The Le Petit Prince Kids Club becomes the first expression of Sofitel’s new-generation design approach, shaped around deeper storytelling, sensory design and the core values of Saint-Exupéry’s world.

Building on the long-standing collaboration between Sofitel and Le Petit Prince, the experience offers children a richer and more imaginative way to explore the story through contemporary design and sustainable materials.

Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s literary masterpiece, the 175-sqm Kids Club invites young guests to connect with the tale through layered experiences that draw from its most recognisable settings — from the desert and the planet to the rose garden, forest and aviator themes. These spaces celebrate enduring values such as humankind, environmental respect, friendship, love and materiality.

Within this dedicated space, every corner is designed for joyful discovery. The Creative Area sparks imagination through arts, crafts and storytelling, while the Move Area encourages climbing, sliding and energetic play. In the Rest Area, children can slow down with books and quiet games, and the Immersive Area blends play with learning through experiences inspired by Thai culture and the natural world.

Beyond these spaces, young guests can climb the Tree Tower for their first brave ascents or transform role-play corners into pirate ships and royal castles. Budding artists find inspiration in the light-filled Art & Craft Studio overlooking tropical gardens, while cosy reading nooks echo the Little Prince’s gentle curiosity. As evening falls, themed workshops and glow-lit adventures fill the club with laughter, giving parents time to unwind as their children explore new stories of their own.

The design combines creativity with sustainability, featuring non-toxic materials, natural light and eco-friendly play equipment. Signature motifs from Le Petit Prince — the Rose, the Fox, Saint-Exupéry’s red aeroplane and the stars — appear throughout, turning small details into moments of surprise and delight.

The storytelling continues beyond the Kids Club. At Maya Restaurant, a dedicated Le Petit Prince corner extends touches of the story’s universe into the dining experience, offering themed activities and gentle family moments in a relaxed setting.

Since 2011, Sofitel has partnered with Le Petit Prince and the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation to support young generations around the world. Through initiatives such as the Sofitel Family Offer — which provides half-price adjoining rooms, late checkout and dedicated children’s amenities, while donating €3 per night to the Foundation — the brand deepens its commitment to nurturing creativity, cultural understanding and meaningful family experiences.

Complementing this milestone, Sofitel Krabi has refreshed its Signature Rooms, combining colonial elegance with contemporary comfort. This marks the first stage of a broader resort enhancement scheduled for completion in Q4 2026, reinforcing the property’s role as a destination where timeless design, cultural discovery and family connection meet.
