It’s the carrier’s 6th partnership

Budget carrier Ryanair has agreed an ‘Approved OTA’ partnership with Etraveli Group, which features online travel agency brands such as Mytrip, Gotogate and Flightnetwork.

The agreement means the OTAs are now authorised to offer Ryanair’s flights to their customers and follows similar arrangements confirmed with lastminute.com, On the Beach, Tui, Loveholidays and Kiwi.com so far this year.

This latest deal guarantees consumers who book Ryanair flights through Etraveli Group platforms that their correct contact and payment information is provided to Ryanair, ensuring that they have access to their myRyanair account and receive important flight information.

Dara Brady, Ryanair’s chief marketing officer, said: “We are pleased to announce our latest ‘Approved OTA’ partnership with Etraveli Group and its OTA brands, including MyTrip, Gotogate and Flightnetwork, which will enable Etraveli Group’s customers to book Ryanair’s low-fare flights with the guarantee of full price transparency and full access to their booking.”

Etraveli Group said it will integrate Ryanair’s flights via a direct API connection, “ensuring faster and more efficient flight booking services”.

Johan Elwin, Etraveli Group’s chief commercial officer, added: “It aligns with our ambition to offer the world’s best air content to our customers and partners both in and outside Europe.”

The announcement came as Ryanair revealed its fourth base in Morocco will be Tangier, which was added to the airline’s network in May.

Two aircraft will be based at Tangier, which will feature 25 routes – including 13 new options – for summer 2024.

In the UK, the airline already served Stansted from Tangier and has now also added Manchester to its network from the Moroccan city.

Ryanair’s other bases in Morocco are in Marrakech, Fez and Agadir.
