Travel technology company Amadeus and corporate travel and event management provider, Reed & Mackay, have joined forces to launch Amadeus’ Cytric Easy platform in mainland Europe.

Cytric Easy, which is embedded in Microsoft Teams, makes the experience of planning and booking business travel and events more fluid, empowering users to efficiently plan, book and manage flights, rail or car trips, as well as hotels, without leaving everyday collaborative applications, helping to reduce disruption in the workday.

In recent years, Reed & Mackay has established a growing presence in mainland Europe with offices in Spain, France, Sweden, Germany, and Italy and led by several key appointments and technology investments.

By focusing on local-market language specialisations, increased API offerings and strong brand partnerships, Reed & Mackay continues to accelerate its European expansion.

The integration of Cytric Easy software into Reed & Mackay’s central booking portal follows the launch of Reed & Mackay’s proprietary portal to new markets, including France, Spain and Sweden.

European clients have single point of access to unified, real-time reporting, centralized profile management and access to a suite of risk management tools.

Alongside user interface enhancements, Reed & Mackay has also doubled down on local language capabilities, with continuous innovation in its online booking tool and mobile app.

Together with Cytric Easy, this makes for a powerful combination of choices for Europe-based businesses

Reed & Mackay’s Europe CEO, Julie Oliver, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Cytric to bring additional choice with complementary travel management solutions to our mainland Europe clients.

“Cytric Easy’s integration with Microsoft Teams, coupled with our own proprietary technology, transforms the way our clients handle travel logistics by facilitating booking and communication options within a popular and pre-established software channel.

“We are like-minded brands in respect to our dedication to innovation and desire to create seamless travel and events experiences for our clients.”

Luis Angel Fernández Jove, Global Head of Cytric Sales Partners, Amadeus added: “This partnership underscores our dedication to providing this pioneering solution to businesses across Europe.

“Together, we are empowering travellers and corporate travel managers with the tools they need to make booking travel and claiming expenses faster, easier, and more efficient than ever before.”
