The much-anticipated annual Travolution Start-up and Innovation Summit returns in less than two weeks’ time.
Ahead of the one-day event, held on Tuesday October 29 at The White Space at The Ministry in London, new speakers from the lineup of thought leaders have been announced.
The agenda, which is filled with insights on challenging new norms, innovation, and thinking outside of the box will now include Sonia Holman, e-commerce and marketing director of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines; Martin Kleinman, supply director & chief commercial officer of Lastminute.com; and Evelyn Williams, a cyber essential assessor of In2Secure and National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) cyber advisor.
Dimitris Manikis, President, EMEA of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, will join the list of experts to discuss all things innovation going on at the group while Charles Tandonnet, VP growth program of Travelsoft, will speak on the topic of payments.
That’s in addition to industry titans Alan French, CEO of Thomas Cook, who will have a one-on-one with Charlotte Lamp Davies, and Clare de Bono, country manager and associate director strategy & transformation of Amadeus, who will also be speaking.
Ian Brooks, co-founder of Gail Kenny Executive Recruitment; Evantia Giumba, business development director and commercial director Benelux & France online, travel sellers of Amadeus Launchpad and Amadeus; and Gabriel Giscard d’Estaing, vice president of Cambon Partners, will return as judges of the Start-up of the Year competition which is live judged on the day.
Joining the ranks will be three new judges, including Leonardo Saroni, general partner of TravelTech VC; James Spalding, regional director (Northern Europe & North America) flight business unit of Trip.com; and Emily Whalley, EMEA sales manager, travel & corporate payments – international of WEX.
The day will explore innovation through technologies, such as cybersecurity and digital payments, as well as business strategy and new products, before enjoying ample opportunity to network over lunch provided by Amadeus and coffee at the end of the day.
