NexGen Hotels, a hotel development and management company based in Itasca, Illinois, announced the acquisition of The Cole Hotel in Palm Springs, California. Located at 2323 North Palm Canyon Drive, the boutique hotel will be managed by Genuine Hospitality Group of St. Louis, Missouri.

The Cole Hotel is nestled at the base of the majestic San Jacinto Mountains and is the perfect desert oasis whether looking to be laid-back poolside or out for adventure. The 30-room hotel offers guests convenient access to the scenic trails of the North Lykken Trail, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the Antique Galleries of Palm Springs, Indian Canyons, Moorten Botanical Garden, the Palm Springs Air Museum and Coachella.

“We are delighted to add The Cole Hotel into our growing portfolio and to expand our footprint into the California market,” says Chris Patel, President, NexGen Hotels. “This one-of-a-kind property offers guests a unique experience when travelling to Palm Springs.”

Each spacious guest room is colorfully decorated in the Palm Springs style and offer breathtaking views of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the San Jacinto Mountains. In-room amenities include Nespresso coffee machines, Victrola Bluetooth stereos, 4K smart-televisions with streaming capabilities, complimentary Wi-Fi and plush mattresses and crisp linens for a comfortable sleep.

The adult-only hotel features an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lush greenery and inviting lounge spaces, an outdoor courtyard with firepit, an outdoor bar, as well as Freddie’s Kitchen – a modern bistro serving French California cuisine with global flavors.
