Şekerci Cafer Erol, the iconic Turkish confectionery brand with a legacy spanning 218 years, has opened its first European flagship store in Knightsbridge, London, directly next to Harrods. Cafer Erol brings the artistry of Turkish sweets and desserts to one of the world’s most prestigious shopping destinations.

At the heart of this launch is the Dubai chocolate, a viral sensation celebrated for its luxurious flavour and exquisite craftsmanship. Now available for the first time in the UK, this signature creation is set to captivate chocolate enthusiasts and London’s elite alike.

A Cultural Milestone in the Heart of London

Şekerci Cafer Erol’s Knightsbridge location is more than a retail store; it’s a celebration of Turkish gastronomy and culture. Offering 370 unique products, including chocolate-covered tahini wafers, baklava, Turkish delight, and milk-based desserts, the brand seamlessly blends centuries-old traditions with modern tastes.

Hakan Erol, along with his partners, businessperson Fatih Koca and Prof Dr Ali Murat Soydan, have brought this 218-year-old business to the heart of London.

“We are thrilled to introduce our brand to London, a city that values both quality and tradition,” said Hakan Erol, the fifth-generation representative of the family business. “This store represents a cultural mission beyond a commercial initiative, allowing us to showcase Turkish hospitality and share our iconic flavours with a global audience.”

Dubai Chocolate: A UK Exclusive

A highlight of the Knightsbridge store is the Dubai chocolate, which exemplifies Cafer Erol’s innovative approach to confectionery. Known for its perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess, the chocolate has garnered a cult following and is now poised to become a must-try treat for London visitors and locals alike.

The Knightsbridge store is the only location in the UK where this exclusive creation is available, making it a destination for chocolate connoisseurs and viral food enthusiasts.

Knightsbridge: A Perfect Home for Turkish Luxury

Located next to Harrods, Cafer Erol’s new store aligns with the luxury and sophistication of its surroundings. The brand’s commitment to quality and authenticity resonates with Knightsbridge’s discerning clientele, offering an elevated confectionery experience.

Beyond its premium offerings, the store embodies Turkish hospitality. Visitors can enjoy cultural events, private gatherings in VIP rooms, and seasonal celebrations with a Turkish twist, creating a unique cultural hub in London.

Looking Ahead: A Global Vision

The opening of the Knightsbridge flagship marks the beginning of Cafer Erol’s international expansion. With plans to open new stores across Europe, the Gulf region, and the United States, the brand is committed to sharing its heritage and high-quality confections with the world.

“This store is just the beginning,” said Hakan Erol. “Each new location represents an opportunity to act as cultural ambassadors, bringing Turkish traditions to a global audience while maintaining our dedication to quality and authenticity.”
