BWH Hotels has announced the appointment of Steve Wahrlich as Chairperson of its Board of Directors for 2025. With over 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a long history with BWH Hotels, Wahrlich’s appointment reflects his deep involvement and leadership within the organization.
Extensive experience in hospitality
Wahrlich, who previously served as Vice Chairperson, has owned and operated BWH Hotels properties for over four decades. He has managed the Best Western Plus® Clocktower Inn in Billings, Montana, since 1966, where the property has earned recognition, including the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for seven consecutive years. In addition to the Clocktower Inn, Wahrlich also owns the Best Western Plus Hilltop in Redding, California, which has been part of BWH Hotels since 1977.

In addition to his role at BWH Hotels, Wahrlich is involved in several community and industry organizations. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of RiverStone Health, Montana’s largest community health center, and is a board member of the Montana Lodging & Hospitality Association. His leadership extends to local community initiatives, where he has served on the City of Billings Tourism Improvement District and the Downtown Billings Tax Improvement District.

Background and Personal Life
A native of Denver, Colorado, Wahrlich holds a degree in Real Estate Management and Finance from the University of Colorado. After working in various locations across the country, he now resides in Billings, Montana, with his wife, Vicki.
Wahrlich’s broad experience in hospitality, community service, and leadership roles within the industry positions him well to guide BWH Hotels as the new Chairperson of the Board in 2025.
