Shiji expands global reach in the Americas with recent completion of multiple outlet installation of Infrasys Cloud POS at The Cape, A Thompson Hotel, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

ATLANTA, GA, United States, February 8, 2022 – Shiji Group has recently announced that The Cape, A Thompson Hotel and part of the Hyatt brand portfolio in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, has gone live with Infrasys Cloud POS in 10 outlets across the hotel property.

Shiji’s Infrasys has been a leading food & beverage enterprise solution provider of cloud point-of-sale for hospitality businesses across the globe for over two decades.

Expanding upon the company’s recent focus on the Americas, the Infrasys Cloud POS installations at The Cape bring another Hyatt property to the Shiji Group network.

The Cape had been looking for an advanced POS system to better meet its operational needs that also allowed the property to continue to use its existing third-party solutions. Upon The Cape’s selection of Shiji Group’s solutions, the Infrasys implementation team successfully integrated the Infrasys Cloud solution with hotel’s existing non-Shiji interfaces, in addition to several other Shiji hardware products.

“We are delighted to welcome The Cape to the Shiji Group family through this exciting installation of our Infrasys Cloud POS solutions across the hotel. We are happy to provide the property with our enterprise-level solutions to help ease operations, increase efficiency, and improve the overall guest experience. The Americas has been an important region in our global expansion plans and we look forward to connecting more and more properties in the Americas through our advanced suite of hospitality technology solutions,” said Diego Rebecca, Director of Sales in Latin America, Shiji Group.

“Infrasys Cloud POS provides our property with a scalable system with offline capabilities, and also allows us to integrate our existing software and hardware with its advanced enterprise-level POS system. In turn, this faster, integrated POS lets our colleagues better direct their time to caring for our guests,” said Eduardo Segura, managing director, The Cape. “We continue to look for ways to enhance our guest experience by investing in next-generation technology with global connectivity such as Infrasys.”

Infrasys Cloud POS provides hotels and restaurants with the option to install the cloud-based POS software onto existing third-party hardware, adding a major cost and time-saving benefit for already-established venues.
