BERLIN, Germany, February 22, 2024 – Shiji, the global hospitality technology innovator, announced the successful deployment of its Infrasys Point-of-sale (POS) solution at Mandarin Oriental’s newly opened Zurich hotel. Founded in 1838, the 5-star property was Zurich’s first grand hotel; it recently reopened after an extensive renovation.

Shiji’s Infrasys POS was scheduled for implementation before the hotel’s grand opening. This included multiple hardware installations, staff training, menu management, and support for any eventualities.

“Many notable Mandarin Oriental properties in the Americas, Europe, and Asia have already gone live with Infrasys. We are delighted to witness the Infrasys POS solution in action at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich. This underscores our commitment to superior service for our customers, something anchored in all our products,” said Wolfgang Emperger, Senior Vice President, Europe, Africa, and UK and General Manager at Shiji.

Due to the concurrent implementation of Infrasys and the extensive renovation at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich, timely delivery of the product was paramount. Shiji successfully completed the installation within 2 months, ensuring the system was operational for the hotel’s reopening.
