Netflix, the video streaming giant, has announced plans for at least two entertainment concept venues, called Netflix House, at shopping centers in Dallas and King of Prussia, Pa., the company said Tuesday.

Los Gatos, Calif.-based Netflix said the venues would open in 2025 and offer screenings of Netflix shows as well as foodservice and merchandise.

“At Netflix House, you can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and get a taste — literally — of your favorite Netflix series and films through unique food and drink offerings,” said Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.

“We’ve launched more than 50 experiences in 25 cities, and Netflix House represents the next generation of our distinctive offerings,” Lee said. “The venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways.”

Netflix House, which is under construction at both sites, will build on prior Netflix live experiences for such titles as “Bridgerton,” “Money Heist,” “Stranger Things,” “Squid Game,” and Netflix Bites.

Netflix Bites was a pop-up culinary space that featured the platform’s chefs in 2023.

The Los Angeles pop-up featured a tasting menu with such chefs as Curtis Stone (“Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”), Dominique Crenn (“Chef’s Table,” and “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”), Rodney Scott (“Chef’s Table: BBQ)”, Ming Tsai (“Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”), Ann Kim (“Chef’s Table: Pizza”), Nadiya Hussain (“Nadiya Bakes”), Jacques Torres (“Nailed It!”) and Andrew Zimmern (“Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”).

Mixologists from Netflix’s “Drink Masters” — including Frankie Solarik, Julie Reiner, LP O’Brien and Kate Gerwin — crafted custom cocktails for the drink menu.

Representatives cited Netflix Bites as a pattern for the menu at the permanent Netflix House foodservice, though they were unable to release further details.

The Dallas Galleria location is under construction on two floors at the northwest side of that shopping center, officials said, and it is expected to open in fall 2025.

“Welcoming Netflix House to Galleria Dallas allows the center to sit at the forefront of the experiential economy, which is such a key aspect of retail today,” said Angie Freed, Galleria Dallas general manager, in a statement. “We’re focused on giving our guests the best possible experience as they shop, dine and spend time with friends and family.”

Galleria Dallas is owned by MetLife Investment Management and managed by Trademark Property Group Inc.
