CROSS HOTELS UNVEILS INDONESIA RESORT: Cross Hotels & Resorts is expanding its presence in Asia Pacific and has signed a major management agreement with PT Yetosa Pratama Sukses for Cross Batam Antapura in Indonesia. The 340-room resort will be developed under the ‘Luxury by Design’ concept and is expected to open in 2027. The resort will consist of 250 guest rooms and 90 luxury pool villas, centered around a low-rise water courtyard. The resort will offer a spa complex, gourmet dining venues, a fitness center, a ballroom and a wedding chapel. The integrated resort will also have sustainable architecture initiatives. Cross Hotels’ portfolio includes 28 properties under six brands across Indonesia, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam.  

INTERCITYHOTEL ADDS IN THE NETHERLANDS: The IntercityHotel brand has strengthened its presence in the Netherlands with the opening of The IntercityHotel Leiden. This is the brand’s second new hotel in the Netherlands this year. Located adjacent to the train station in Leiden, the hotel features 115 rooms, a breakfast restaurant and a lounge with a bar. The hotel is operated by H World International and owned by Commerz Real Institutional European Hotel Fund. The property was constructed by Synchroon B.V. and J.P. van Eesteren B.V.

MOXY HOTELS OPENS IN SANTA BARBARA: Moxy Hotels has announced the opening of Moxy Santa Barbara. The hotel building originally opened as a youth hostel, with the property undergoing a recent refresh and design by Cadiz Collaboration. Located in the Funk Zone area of downtown Santa Barabara, Calif., the hotel has 31 rooms, a bar, an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour marketplace and a meeting and event area. The pet-friendly hotel is managed by the San Diego-based Azul Hospitality Group. Moxy Hotels’ portfolio comprises more than 135 properties in over 25 countries.  

HOTEL EMPORIUM, BULGARI PARTNERSHIP: Hotel Emporium, the direct manufacturer of premium, sustainable hotel amenities, has entered into a partnership with the Italian luxury fashion house, Bulgari. The partners will collaborate on an eau parfumée guest collection, marking Hotel Emporium’s entry into the luxury hotel market, with exclusive distribution rights specifically in Canada and Hawaii. Additionally, the collaboration includes the creation of transversal ancillaries, such as face emulsion, after-shave balm, hand cream and lip balm, as well as a single rack dispenser wall holder to hold the amenities.
