European train booking reference brand has announced the appointment of Robert From as chief growth officer.
From will oversee the B2C business, including customer acquisition, growth, retention, ancillaries, and monetisation.
His arrival is said to come at a “pivotal time” for the firm as it is set to launch a new booking experience for its B2C customers on both the website and app by beginning of 2025.
From brings over 15 years of experience in scaling technology and media businesses internationally.
He was previously, commercial COO at MaaS Global, where he was responsible for managing the biggest global B2C MaaS platform called WHIM, dubbed the “Netflix of mobility”.
In this position, he led the company to significant revenue, customer and usage growth totalling number of customers served to 650,000 and facilitating 25 million trips.
Before joining MaaS Global, he served in multiple leadership roles at Google in Northern Europe and Southeast Asia.
There he played a key role in expanding YouTube monetisation in Finland and the Nordics.
During his time at Google, he successfully helped companies in technology, ecommerce, FMCG and consumer services to grow sales, build its brands and serve customers better.
