Gernman-based travel technology provider ISO Travel Solutions have announced it has appointed Matthias Rotter as senior consultant to its key accounts.

Rotter, former managing director of DER Touristik, and before that division manager of Meiers Weltreisen.

He was brought on to be an experienced strategic advisor to travel companies.

He will be responsible for analysing requirements of sophisticated IT projects, to determine feasibility for the ISO-Gruppe.

His tasks will include the evaluation of complex customer requirements and the conception of individual IT solutions.

The ISO-Gruppe has been a business partner with Rotter for years, having carried out joint projects.

“It was time to intensify our long-standing and successful cooperation in an exclusive partnership,” said Markus Kretschmer, managing director of ISO Travel Solutions.

“Matthias Rotter is an internationally recognized travel and technology generalist.

“With his experience and analytical skills, he will be able to provide travel companies with first-class support and advice.”

Rotter said: “Many companies in the industry are faced with the question of how to equip themselves for a successful future with innovative technologies.

“With my experience from the same customer perspective, I am ready to tackle this challenge with confidence.

The goal is to ensure a success-oriented project concept and an optimal start to the collaboration.

During the course of the project, Matthias Rotter will also contribute his expertise in IT change management and will be able to support ISO customers in other business matters.

He added: “In my other role as a trainer in the field of leadership development, I regularly experience how important it is to act in the here and now.

“The key to success is to stay in touch and wrestle with each other until a common understanding is reached.

“From there, we can break new ground together. This is exactly how I imagine working with ISO customers,” he said.
