HILTON’S LA JOLLA TORREY PINES RESORT SELLS: JRK Property Holdings has acquired the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif. from Braemar Hotels & Resorts for $165 million. The 294-room resort is situated on an 11.4-acre site adjacent to the Torrey Pines Golf Course, 15 miles north of downtown San Deigo. The upscale, full-service hotel features rooms with balconies overlooking the golf course and Pacific Ocean, three dinning venues, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts and 65,200 square feet of meeting space. The hotel has outperformed the competitive market in occupancy, ADR and RevPAR every year since 2016, according to Eastdil Secured, which marketed the property on behalf of Braemar Hotels & Resorts. The new owners plan to invest capital to refurbish the resort.
