FOUR SEASONS EXPANDS RESIDENCES PORTFOLIO: Four Seasons has added to its residential portfolio with the announcement of new villas and condominiums in the Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies, in partnership with F.S.R. Estates Ltd. Slated to open in 2025, the new-build luxury residential project will feature 58 homes. The property will comprise six low-rise buildings with four to 10 villas in each, a residents-only clubhouse. The residences will range from one-, two- and three-bedroom units and offer views the Nevis Peak, the Caribbean Sea and the rainforest bordering the property. The property’s architecture has been designed by 79 Design and Plan Studios, with interiors by Ward & Co. Residents will enjoy full access to the amenities of the resort, which include three pools, pickleball courts, a large tennis complex, new kid’s splash pad, four restaurants, three lounges and a full-service spa. Residents will also have a dedicated Four Seasons residential team, who will oversee the residential experience, led by a director of residences. Currently, Four Seasons operates 54 branded private residences globally.

VICEROY RESORT IN PORTUGAL: Viceroy Hotels & Resorts is expanding its presence with the Viceroy at Ombria Algarve in southern Portugal. Offering 360-degree views of the Algarve hills and open plains, the resort is situated north of Loulé. The property consists of 24 buildings with each one have varying shapes and sizes. All rooms and suites will have a mix of terraces, pools, balconies or jacuzzis. Slated to open on October 1, the resort features 141 rooms and residences set within 5.2 hectares. The resort also offers guest experiences led by local families, six dining options, four pools, a kid’s cub, spa and event spaces, as well as an 18-hole golf course designed by Jorge Santana da Silva. The property has been designed by WATG, Promontorio and Wimberly Interiors.

1 HOTEL CENTRAL PARK SELLS: Host Hotels & Resorts has acquired 1 Hotel Central Park in New York from Starwood Capital Group for $233.8 million, according to records filed with New York City. Starwood will continue to operate the 230-room hotel, as part of a 25-year management agreement signed by the two companies, a CoStar report said. 1 Hotel Central Park adds to Host’s existing portfolio in NYC, which includes the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and the New York Marriott Downtown. Host has been growing its portfolio and recently acquired the Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii from Blackstone for around $680 million in May. In April, Host signed a deal to acquire the 1 Hotel Nashville and an adjacent Embassy Suites from a group led by Starwood.

INTERCONTINENTAL EXPANDS TO PACIFIC NORTHWEST: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has opened InerContinental Bellevue at the Avenue. The 208-room luxury hotel is situated within the over $1 billion Avenue Bellevue complex in Bellevue, Wash., which was developed by Fortress Development. This marks the brand’s first property in the Pacific Northwest. Offering views of Lake Washington and downtown Seattle, the luxury hotel features 190 rooms and 18 suites, two restaurants, a fitness center and 12,000 square feet of event space.
