Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House, part of The QHotels Collection, has revealed refurbishment works to its restaurant, lounge and bar areas. Following increased demand for onsite dining, Norton Park has adapted its current offering to better suit the needs of its guests and provide the best possible experience.

Located just outside of Winchester, Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House is set amongst 54 acres of serene Hampshire countryside and offers the ultimate escape for couples, friends, families, and corporate guests.

Recent refurbishments have taken place across the hotel, including the onsite restaurant, lounge and bar area. The Scene Restaurant provides all-day dining to both hotel guests and visitors alike, offering a diverse seasonal menu in a relaxed setting, alongside a popular buffet style breakfast. The Scene Bar and Lounge provides a more casual atmosphere with a menu comprising of lighter bites, stonebaked sourdough pizzas and an extensive drinks selection also available on the picturesque outdoor terrace.

In response to increased demand for onsite dining, the hotel has taken the necessary steps to overhaul the current dining areas with guest experience in mind. The investment demonstrates Norton Park’s continued dedication to improve its offering. The Scene Restaurant will see a contemporary new look incorporating multi-level tables, natural textures and a dedicated coffee bar. The Scene Bar and Lounge has seen more extensive works, with the introduction of a hot and cold buffet area to accommodate extra guests for breakfast, alongside updated interiors including new furniture and vibrant modern design features.

General Manager, Paul Russell, comments: “Our goal was to create a dining space that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our guests. We have seen a huge increase in demand for onsite dining, testament to the quality of our offering. We’ve noticed our guests are choosing Norton Park as a destination because we provide so much more than a place to rest your head.”

While all stays at Norton Park offer a hot and cold buffet style breakfast as standard, the option of a dinner inclusive stay is also available and is increasingly popular with guests. Dinner inclusive packages provide guests with £32.00 per adult to be used on food spend over all onsite dining. Ideal for families, Norton Park also offers children 4 years and younger two courses for free when dining with an adult.

The recent hotel upgrades follow extensive refurbishments in 2023 including modernisation to communal areas in the main hotel and upgrades to the 17th Century Hampshire barn with the addition of a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen to accommodate catering for weddings and corporate events.

The 16th Century Manor House has also undergone updates with the addition of a luxurious new Shaker Style Kitchen. The 13-bedroom Manor House sits within the picturesque grounds of Norton Park and is ideal for exclusive use stays. Complete with historical communal areas and a traditional Walled Garden, Manor House guests also benefit from Main Hotel facilities, including access to the onsite Health Club and convenient dining options in the newly upgraded bar, lounge and restaurant.

Paul Russell, continues: “At Norton Park we are constantly developing and putting guest feedback into practice. We’re lucky to have an excellent location spread over a stunning countryside site that includes both contemporary and historic buildings. Over time we will to continue upgrade our facilities and services to best suit the needs of our diverse customer base.”

With its distraction free rural setting, Norton Park is ideal for business events and conferences. With two large function rooms and a variety of smaller, modern syndicate rooms, the flexible spaces easily cater for events of up to 300 guests, as well as a 16th Century Manor House which is perfect for away days, board meetings and wellness retreats.

Norton Park features an on-site spa complete with a sauna, steam room and indoor heated pool. The Spa at Norton Park is partnered award-winning body and skincare brand, ELEMIS, with expert therapists are on site to carry out treatments.
