Called HighTales, the first site will open in Stoke-on-Trent on Stanley Matthews Way following a multimillion-pound investment.

The pub giant has created an all-day offer serving breakfast through dinner with menu items that will include fried chicken, foot-long pizzas, burgers, toasties, salads, pies, fish and chips, and desserts.

The debut venue will also feature a pop-up Garden Kitchen that will serve a rotating menu of street food dishes during weekday lunchtimes and all-day Sunday, with dishes to include Yorkshire wraps and ice cream ‘and everything in between’.

The new brand has been designed to offer a different and more inclusive dining experience to Greene King’s existing portfolio and will have a strong focus on entertainment, hosting comedy gigs, movie nights, a live music schedule, and open mic sessions.

Other entertainment will include digital darts, table football, and a photo booth and there will also be what it describes as ‘all-day’ Sunday quizzes. There will also be digital drawing stations for younger guests.

“I’m thrilled to have officially started as general manager of HighTales, and to be on the journey delivering what we believe will be an exciting new brand – unique to anything else on out there – to Stoke, and our customers,” says Simon Doney, HighTales general manager.
