Online Travel Training (OTT) has appointed former APT head of sales Jessica Shelton-Agar as managing director.

Shelton-Agar has most recently been based in the Middle East as head of sales for Discover Qatar and joins OTT following its acquisition by Travel Weekly parent company Jacobs Media in November 2023.

She will join the market-leading training provider on November 26, working initially alongside OTT founder Julie Feuell before Feuell moves to a consultancy role at the start of 2025.

Stu Parish, Jacobs Media UK chief executive, said: “OTT has quickly become established as a crucial part of the Jacobs Media portfolio, and we are delighted to welcome Jessica as managing director as we take the brand forward and build on the platform Julia has created.

“I would like to thank Julia for all the support and guidance she has offered since our acquisition of OTT last year and I am delighted that Jess and the team will continue to benefit from her considerable experience in the training sector in 2025.”

Shelton-Agar said: “OTT is a brand at the heart of the travel trade, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to return to the UK to lead an outstanding team.

“I have always been passionate about providing the travel trade with engaging and valuable training tools, and I look forward to building on the fantastic work Julia and the team have already achieved and reconnecting with partners, many of whom I have worked with previously.”

Originally from New Zealand, Shelton-Agar held a range of roles in a 10-year career at touring and river cruise specialist APT, including national sales manager and head of sales.
