Vietnamese Kitchen heads to Borough for fourth Kêu site

The new restaurant on Borough High Street will feature an expanded menu with a wider variety of noodles and rice dishes.

It will operate alongside Kêu’s sites in The City, Shoreditch and Soho.

“I am thrilled to bring the Kêu brand to Borough, an area that mirrors the vibrant atmosphere in Saigon,” says Hieu Bui, founder of Kêu.

The new venue will bring a fresh look for the Kêu brand that’s inspired by ancient Saigon, featuring traditional colours and designs found in the region.

Taking inspiration from Vietnam’s late-night noodle bars, the ‘authentic yet comfortable space’ will be split across two levels and include a long table in the downstairs space that can accommodate up to 12 diners.

The menu will feature hand-pulled egg noodles made on-site, and hủ tiếu rice vermicelli noodles flown in from Saigon.

There will also be a wide variety of rice bowls, bahn mi sandwiches, and a range of daily specials.

“The expanded menu we have created will introduce more of Saigon’s street food favourites to the capital, in a destination that is at the heart of London’s food scene,” continues Bui.

“We hope to continue to spread the love for Vietnamese cuisine and culture through Kêu’s newest opening, offering a new and exciting destination for food lovers in London.”

Vietnamese Kitchen’s portfolio also includes Cay Tre, which has restaurants in Hoxton and Soho; and Viet Grill in Shoreditch.
