In partnership with the Pariente and Essebag families, who own the establishment, this hotel, whose name has yet to be determined, is due to welcome its first guests for the 2027 season and will become the fifth hotel in the French portfolio.

The hotel will be designed as a peaceful small village, with several two-story buildings offering panoramic sea views. This new opening is part of Oetker Collection’s growth strategy, which recently opened Hotel La Palma in Capri in 2023 and plans to open Hotel Vineta in Palm Beach in 2024.

“We are simply delighted to have such a trinity of new projects, from recently launching Hotel La Palma in Capri, to our forthcoming first US hotel with The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach, and now St Tropez – all are bywords for glamour and destinations beloved by many of our dear guests. The St Tropez hotel contains all the ingredients of a true masterpiece, and we look forward to creating an unparalleled haven that embraces both the laid-back authenticity and sophistication of the region.” – Timo Gruenert, CEO of Oetker Collection

This new hotel, which will bring the number of Oetker Collection properties to 13, will be located between St-Tropez and the Pampelonne beaches in Ramatuelle, on the site of the former Le Mas Bellevue. It will feature 52 rooms and suites, each with its own private terrace or patio. The property will be centered around a large infinity pool and will also include a wellness area, as well as bars and restaurants offering Provençal cuisine.

The project was designed by French architects and designers Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier, who focused on creating a sophisticated environment while respecting the tranquility of the location. The design includes the use of natural materials such as aged tiles, local stone, climbing vegetation, and wooden pergolas.

Oetker Collection brings together a portfolio of luxury hotels and villas located in Europe, the UK, Brazil, and the Caribbean. Its current portfolio includes prestigious properties such as Le Bristol Paris, Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, Château Saint-Martin & Spa in Vence, The Lanesborough in London, L’Apogée Courchevel, Eden Rock – St Barths, Jumby Bay Island in Antigua, Palácio Tangará in São Paulo, The Woodward in Geneva, Hotel La Palma in Capri, and the soon-to-be-opened Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach.
