Meanwhile, the Lobby of Nobu Hotel Barcelona will be transformed into a serene space with the installation of its Christmas tree, a design by Belén Salinas of the Imakiro Paper Creative Studio in collaboration with the Design Studio Indissoluble. The tree incorporates natural and organic materials, and its pyramidal sculpture, composed of over 100 wooden branches, evokes the serenity of Japanese temples, transcending from a festive ornament to a space for contemplation. Crafted from laminated wood stained in a warm walnut hue, the piece harmonises with the hotel’s interior. Small LED lights, integrated between layers of wood and recyclable aluminium, create a gentle twinkling effect, fostering a magical atmosphere. In front of the tapestries a play of shadows in constant flux transforms into an abstract landscape that comes to life. Alongside the tree, an illuminated pathway featuring five glass domes reveals delicate origami pieces, meticulously folded using traditional Japanese techniques. The signature Yuzu Ginger scent incorporates all the senses and evokes the Christmas spirit.
