Chris Penn has been appointed CEO, Mostafa Abdella as Chief Operating Officer, and Meriem Soliman as Chief Brand Officer. Chris Penn returns as CEO
Chris Penn, a professional with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality sector, has rejoined Ace Hotels as CEO. Penn previously served as Managing Director at Ace Hotel London, where he played a critical role in the launch of the property in 2013. In his new role as CEO, Penn will oversee all operations and lead the company’s expansion efforts. His background in lifestyle and urban hotel sectors will be key, as the company looks to grow its international presence.
Mostafa Abdella appointed Chief Operating Officer
Mostafa Abdella, who has held various senior roles within Ace Hotels, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Abdella brings 25 years of experience in hospitality, including his previous role as Managing Director at Ace Hotel London. In his new position, Abdella will be responsible for managing Ace’s operations, including finance, revenue, IT, HR, and food and beverage. Abdella’s experience working in multiple global markets will support the company’s focus on improving guest experiences and operational efficiency.

Meriem Soliman elevated to Chief Brand Officer
Meriem Soliman, who has been with Ace Hotels since 2012, has been promoted to Chief Brand Officer. Soliman, who previously served as General Counsel and President, has a deep understanding of the company’s operations, brand, and strategic goals. In her new role, Soliman will focus on strengthening Ace’s brand identity, expanding market share, and developing strategies to engage new audiences. Her experience across various business areas, from design to marketing, will play a pivotal role in guiding Ace Hotels’ future direction.
