Rocco Forte Hotels expands in Milan with The Carlton Milan

Rocco Forte Hotels is set to open its second hotel in Milan, The Carlton Milan, in late summer 2025. The hotel will be located in the former Baglioni Hotel Carlton on Via della Spiga, following an extensive refurbishment.

This new opening comes after the debut of Rocco Forte House Milan in September 2024, which marked the brand’s first apartment property in the city.

The Carlton Milan will feature approximately 70 rooms and suites, while the hotel’s design that was led by Rocco Forte’s Director of Design, Olga Polizzi, and interior designers Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen. The interior design will combine traditional style with contemporary elements.

Concerning the amenities, the hotel is set to include a restaurant and lounge bar, a wellness center with a gym and spa, and a rooftop bar offering 360-degree views of the city.

The opening of The Carlton Milan will mark Rocco Forte Hotels’ 10th property in Italy, expanding the brand’s presence in key locations across the country. In addition to its properties in Milan, the group operates hotels in Florence, Rome, Puglia, and Sicily, further reinforcing its position in the Italian luxury hospitality market.

The group’s recent partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which acquired a 49% stake in Rocco Forte Hotels in 2023, is expected to support its international expansion.
