IHG Hotels & Resorts continues to strengthen its presence in Germany by signing the Bristol Berlin to its growing Vignette Collection. Scheduled to open in 2025, Bristol Berlin, Vignette Collection, marks an important step in IHG’s ambitious expansion plans in the luxury and lifestyle segment.

Located prominently on Kurfürstendamm, Berlin’s boulevard, the hotel provides guests with direct access to key attractions and entertainment venues. Established originally in 1952, the hotel blends rich history with contemporary elements.

Bristol Berlin will feature 303 guest rooms, complemented by extensive facilities including an all-day dining brasserie, a lobby lounge and bar, and a spa complete with a swimming pool. The property also offers meeting and event capabilities, providing 1,500 square meters of flexible space suitable for business gatherings, conferences, and social events.

“With both guests and hotel owners continuing to show strong enthusiasm for IHG’s variety of brands, our strategy in the market now centres on steadily increasing our luxury and lifestyle portfolio. It is great to see evidence of this strategy in play with the prospective first opening of Vignette Collection hotel in Germany.
As one of our priority markets, and recognising the vast potential across all market segments, we’ve made significant investments in Germany to support our owners at every stage of their hotel’s lifecycle. From strengthening our enterprise, including through our IHG One Rewards loyalty programme, enhanced marketing campaigns and growing our teams on the ground, we are confidently cementing our presence in the country.” – (Mrs) Willemijn Geels, Vice President, Development, Europe, IHG Hotels & Resorts

The Vignette Collection, launched by IHG in 2021, has quickly gained popularity among hotel owners seeking global reach while preserving the unique charm and independent identity of their properties.

“Through the partnerships with IHG, we are taking the next step in unlocking the full potential of our hotel, which benefits from a prime city centre location. In recent years, we have successfully revitalized the property through extensive room renovations and a refreshed restaurant concept. Now, with the strength of a leading global hotel brand, we are leveraging these improvements to elevate the hotel’s performance to new heights.” – Kamaldeep Manaktala, CEO of Hotels of Aroundtown

This signing represents the second Vignette Collection property in Germany, following the recent agreement in Reit im Winkl. The addition of Bristol Berlin highlights IHG’s strategic growth within Europe, contributing to its substantial portfolio in Germany, where the group currently manages 147 operational hotels with an additional 75 properties under development across various brands.
