Dusit International has signed an agreement with PT Komodo Property Management to manage Kaliwatu Residences – Dusit Collection in Labuan Bajo, Flores Island, Indonesia. This is Dusit’s first Dusit Collection property in Indonesia.

Kaliwatu Residences – Dusit Collection will be developed in phases with full completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2028. It will include 63 private villas with plunge pools, 194 apartment, and a clubhouse with a restaurant, bars, shops, a gym, a spa, and a rooftop swimming pool.

Labuan Bajo is located on the western tip of Flores and has grown from a fishing town into a tourist hub, serving as the gateway to Komodo National Park, known for its Komodo dragons and diving sites.

Design of the property will follow a European-inspired style, with villas promised to blend with the natural surroundings. The project aims to offer a combination of comfort and functionality for residents and visitors.

Visitors can access Labuan Bajo’s attractions, including pink beaches, underground caves, waterfalls, and hiking trails. Additionally, Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is nearby, making it a significant point of interest. The area’s natural features continue to attract travelers looking for unique experiences.

Labuan Bajo is one of Indonesia’s five super priority destinations, with a target of 1.5 million tourists annually. As part of ongoing development, infrastructure improvements, including airport upgrades and new direct flights from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Perth, are increasing accessibility. These enhancements contribute to the region’s growing appeal.

“The signing of Kaliwatu Residences – Dusit Collection marks a significant milestone in Dusit’s expansion strategy, strengthening our presence in Southeast Asia’s thriving luxury hospitality market,” said Gilles Cretallaz, COO of Dusit International. “Labuan Bajo is an extraordinary destination with immense potential.”

Added Alessandro Mugavero, CEO of PT Komodo Property Management, “As Labuan Bajo cements its position as a premier global destination, this project is perfectly timed to set new standards in sustainable luxury hospitality. Our vision for Kaliwatu Residences – Dusit Collection is to create a sanctuary that harmonizes with nature while delivering world-class amenities.”
