Reach Hospitality, which operates The Mexican, Black Tap, and Pie Tap restaurants in Dallas, planned to open the Hollywood-inspired Evelyn steakhouse on Wednesday in the city’s design district.
The Dallas-based group’s spokesperson said the Evelyn will exude “confidence, sophistication, and a striking feminine energy” in the 9,500-square-foot space.
Designed by the ICrave design firm (Catch and STK restaurants), the Evelyn will feature The Piano Room, a dining room where guests can order steaks, seafood, and classic cocktails.
The Ruby Room, the main bar, and the Room Seven lounge will feature 75 to 100 seats each.
Evelyn’s beverage program is home to classic, era-driven cocktails and a martini program. The martini selection, priced from $17- $22 spans classic options such as The House martini with Bombay Sapphire gin, vermouth, white balsamic vinegar to The Vesper as well as martini service for two called the Dirty Duo.
“The idea for this concept actually started with the lounge, Room Seven,” Todd Istre, co-founder of Reach Hospitality, said in a statement. “We felt Dallas was missing a luxury space where you could have dinner, dance, and enjoy a full night out all in one spot.”
The full dinner menu is available in Room Seven, and a late-night menu ensures that the culinary experience extends well beyond dinner hours.
Evelyn will be closed on Mondays.
