Dorchester Collection has announced the appointment of Philippe Leboeuf as its new CEO, effective June 2025. The move comes after the departure of Eugenio Pirri last year. Leboeuf most recently served as managing director of Raffles London.
Leboeuf has held senior roles across various regions and continents with expertise that spans strategic leadership, operations and the management of new hotel openings, making him a significant addition to Dorchester Collection’s leadership team.
Leboeuf’s career includes serving as director general of Concorde Hotels, a group owned by Taittinger, where he was responsible for managing 19 owned hotels and 70 affiliated properties. He has also held key leadership positions with other prestigious hotel groups, including regional vice president of operations at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, vice president of operations at Rosewood, and general manager at Claridge’s.

Christopher Cowdray, president of Dorchester Collection, shared his thoughts on the appointment: “Maintaining Dorchester Collection’s renowned culture and values was central to selecting Leboeuf as CEO. Driven by purpose and excellence, he is highly respected worldwide by a wide range of stakeholders, including owners, the travel industry, the media, partners, and particularly employees and guests.”
Leboeuf commented on his new role, stating: “As Dorchester Collection hotels create the history of their destinations and share a unique bond that unites them, I am excited to advance the company’s legacy and heritage to the next chapter.”
The polyglot Leboeuf is a graduate of Cornell University and HEC Management School and speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish. Additionally, he was honored with the Knight of the Legion of Honour by the French government in recognition of his significant contributions to the hospitality industry.
Dorchester Collection currently has a portfolio of 10 luxury hotels, including The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane in London, Hotel Eden in Rome and The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, with two more on the way according to its website in Dubai and Tokyo.
