Dorchester Collection has announced the appointment of Philippe Leboeuf as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 2025. This decision follows the departure of Eugenio Pirri. Leboeuf joins the company with extensive experience in luxury hospitality, which is expected to support the continued development of Dorchester Collection’s global presence.

Extensive Expertise in Luxury Hospitality

Philippe Leboeuf holds degrees from Cornell University and HEC Management School in Paris. He brings a broad range of experience to his new role. Before joining Dorchester Collection, he served as Managing Director of Raffles London, overseeing the hotel’s opening. Leboeuf’s career includes leadership positions at well-known hotel groups such as Concorde Hotels, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, and Claridge’s.

‘Keeping the Dorchester Collection renowned culture and values alive was key in the selection of Philippe as CEO.  Driven by purpose and excellence, he is highly respected globally by many stakeholders including owners, the travel trade, the media and partners, and especially employees and guests.’ – Christopher Cowdray, president of Dorchester Collection

Leboeuf is also known for his contributions to the industry, having served as a Board Director at Leading Hotels of the World. Fluent in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, and Spanish, he brings a global perspective to his leadership role. Additionally, he was recognized by the French government with the Knight of the Legion of Honour.
