Motel One celebrates the opening of its 100th hotel in Munich, a key moment in its development. At the same time, the brand continues to expand in Europe and the United States, with several upcoming projects, notably in France, the UK and Portugal.
A sustained development strategy
The Motel One Group has reached an important milestone with the opening of its 100th hotel in Munich, marking a symbolic step in its expansion.

With the opening of new hotels in Munich, London, Lisbon, Paris and Vienna, Motel One continues to expand in major European cities, with particularly promising plans for 2025. This expansion strategy is also visible in Belgium, with the opening of its second property in the country, the Motel One Antwerp.
Furthermore, the Group has already secured 29 new projects by September 31, 2024, testifying to the strength of its pipeline. And all this would not be possible without the financial involvement of PAI Partners, which recently became a majority shareholder in Motel One.
Expansion of The Cloud One lifestyle brand
Alongside Motel One, lifestyle brand The Cloud One continues to grow. Founded in 2022, The Cloud One opened its first hotel in New York, followed by its first European property in Hamburg in December 2023. Since then, the brand has expanded to other cities such as Nuremberg, Prague, Düsseldorf, and Danzig.

Motel One, with 28,000 rooms in 13 countries, is preparing to expand its presence in both the European and American markets. The brand plans to open hotels in strategic cities such as Lisbon and Miami.
In 2025, The Cloud One hotel in Lisbon will mark a new phase for the group, with the addition of innovative amenities such as a pool area.
