Big Mamma Group continues its European expansion with the opening of Gloria Osteria in Barcelona, marking a new chapter for the brand in the heart of the Eixample neighborhood.
Known for its unique atmosphere and Italian hospitality, the group brings its signature dining experience to the Catalan capital, following recent launches in Monaco, Hamburg, and London.
Located in the Eixample district, the new venue builds on the concept established by its Milan counterpart, combining Italian cuisine with immersive 1970s-inspired design.
Gloria Osteria Barcelona follows the concept introduced in Milan’s Brera district, as it features an interior inspired by Italy’s golden era—complete with Murano chandeliers, mirrored columns, and sculptural lighting by Jacopo Foggini. Spanning two floors and complemented by a sunlit terrace, the space offers a setting that nods to fashion and art as much as to cuisine.
The menu, crafted by executive chef Daniele Tasso, offers elevated takes on Italian classics. Ingredients are sourced from over 170 Italian artisans, with highlights including seasonal truffle from Piemonte, aged Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, and burrata from Puglia. The culinary approach balances tradition with innovation.
Guests can now secure reservations for the days ahead, as the group aims to establish Gloria Osteria as a go-to destination in the city’s dynamic dining scene.
