Canada: Developer and management company Manga Hotel Group has officially opened the TOOR Hotel in downtown Toronto, its first property under the upscale TOOR brand.
Located in Toronto’s Garden District, the new hotel operates under the JdV by Hyatt collection and was envisioned by Canadian hotelier Sukhdev Toor.
The 33-storey, mixed-use building features 232 hotel rooms and 181 premium residential rental units. Each room is equipped with 55” TVs, Nespresso machines, and smart Lutron lighting systems.
Amenities include a fitness centre, yoga studio, valet parking, event space, and a two-storey restaurant. Spanning more than 2,500 feet, the Muse Bistro & Bar is situated on the ground and first floor.
President and CEO of Manga Hotel Group, Toor said: “TOOR Hotel is a contemporary take on modern hospitality—where striking design, unparalleled views, and convenient amenities come together to create a one-of-a-kind stay. We are thrilled to open our doors and welcome travellers with the warmth of true Canadian hospitality.”
The property is part of Manga’s broader real estate portfolio, which includes 33 hotels and more than 6,000 rooms across Canada and the United States.
A second TOOR-branded hotel is scheduled to open in New York City’s Soho neighbourhood later this year.
