EXTENDAM and Highgate acquire Hilton Porto Gaia

💰 EXTENDAM and Highgate have partnered to acquire the Hilton Porto Gaia, a 194-room, five-star hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. Opened in 2021, the hotel offers 47 suites, a restaurant, bar, spa, and a 350-seat auditorium. Managed by Highgate under the Hilton brand, the hotel holds an A-rated energy certificate and Biosphere Responsible Tourism certification. This marks the first collaboration between EXTENDAM and Highgate, aiming to leverage Porto's thriving market.

Regent Hotels expands global portfolio

🛫 Regent Hotels & Resorts, part of IHG, plans to expand internationally through 2026. The brand will open its first spa at Regent Bali Canggu in October 2025. Recent openings include Carlton Cannes and Regent Hong Kong in 2023, and Regent Shanghai on the Bund in 2025. Future sites in Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur are expected in 2026, with additional projects in Kyoto, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. Regent operates 11 hotels and resorts globally.

Gunter Hotel reopens after $57 million renovation
