A by Adina has officially opened its first European property, introducing a premium apartment-hotel experience to Vienna.

This marks the brand’s first expansion outside of Australia, three years after its initial launch. Located within the 180-meter-high Danubeflats—Austria’s tallest residential tower—the new A by Adina Vienna Danube combines high-end hotel amenities with the autonomy and comfort of apartment living.

“Adina Hotels was the very first Australian hotel brand to enter the European Market, some 15 years ago,” “So, it’s exciting to see the elevation of this brand – a sort of ‘sophisticated coming of age’ if you will – with the launch of A by Adina into Europe.” – Asli Kutlucan, Adina Europe Chief Executive Officer

The property features 120 contemporary studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments, each including an equipped kitchen,  living space, and work areas tailored to meet the needs of both leisure and business travellers.

The A by Adina Vienna Danube Hotel offers guests a variety of amenities, including a bar, cocktail lounge, and restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Danube River. The fourth floor hosts a wellness area, complete with a gym, Pilates/yoga room, two saunas, a quiet room, wellness bar, and a panoramic pool that is heated for year-round use.

“Whilst our A by Adina Sydney guests are wowed by the Sky Lobby and the spectacular views from Dean & Nancy on 22 over Sydney’s CBD, guests to A by Adina Vienna Danube will naturally gravitate to the spectacular infinity pool, overlooking the Danube River across to St. Franziskus Church in Vienna’s old town,” – Antony Ritch , TFE Hotels CEO.

The project is being developed by local firms S+B Gruppe and Soravia, in collaboration with BWM Designers & Architects, ensuring top-tier standards of architecture and design.

“From our initial launch in Australia in 2021, we have always envisioned and planned to introduce this premium hotel living brand into new markets, so a move into Europe was the natural next step for us,” – Antony Ritch , TFE Hotels CEO.

The hotel’s position in Vienna offers access to the historical city center, recreational parks, and Vienna’s largest shopping center. Guests will also enjoy recreational facilities nearby, including Donau Park, prime cycling routes, the Danube free swimming area, and boat rentals on Kaiserwasser Lake.

Antony Ritch, CEO of TFE Hotels, highlighted that the A by Adina brand will set new standards for premium apartment-style accommodation in Vienna. This sentiment was echoed by Asli Kutlucan, Chief Executive Officer of Adina Europe, who noted that the Vienna location will build on the strong reputation TFE Hotels and the Adina brand have already established in Europe.
