Hagadone Hospitality has broken ground on the Sherman Tower, a 139-room expansion to The Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. When complete, the resort will offer 477 rooms. The project is also expected to generate approximately 200 jobs.

“When the Sherman Tower debuts, it will reflect the elevated hospitality The Coeur d’Alene Resort is known for, while introducing new experiences that enhance downtown’s vibrancy,” said Bill Reagan, president of The Coeur d’Alene Resort. “We’re not just building a hotel—we’re creating a place where locals and visitors alike can enjoy new dining, social spaces, and scenic views, all while driving economic growth for our beloved city.”

Plans for the new tower include lake-facing guestrooms, an expanded food-and-beverage program, and new common areas. All guestrooms will face Lake Coeur d’Alene.

A lobby lounge will be added on the first floor. It will include indoor seating, a fireplace, and a café. Local art will rotate through the café space, which will serve coffee and light meals.

According to Hagadone Hospitality, the tower will also feature a full-service restaurant and a rooftop bar. The restaurant will offer grilled seafood and steak alongside cocktails. The rooftop space will serve Latin-style dishes and drinks and offer views of the lake and city skyline.
