US: Donatella Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, a sister property of Versace Mansion, will open its doors in May in Miami’s Art Deco district.
The Donatella Boutique Hotel & Restaurant is a project by the Nakash Group in collaboration with Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group. The two companies are joint owners of the site.
Located at 1350 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach’s Art Deco district, the building was originally designed by architect Wallace Tutt in 1922, who also designed the Versace Mansion.
The property was acquired in 2022 by the Nakash family and Vida & Estilo Hospitality. It has since undergone restoration.
The hotel features six rooms with interiors designed by Mico Design Studio. Amenities include an on-site Donatella Restaurant, led by chef Alessandro Morrone, which will serve a menu inspired by Southern Italian coastal cuisine, including handmade pastas and premium seafood and meats. The restaurant seats up to 170 guests, with a 15-person private dining room for special occasions.
Nakash Group, which operates the adjacent Villa Casa Casuarina (the former Versace Mansion), also owns the Setai Miami Beach.
Joe Nakash, chairman of The Setai Hotel, said: “With every property, from The Setai, Miami Beach to the former Versace Mansion, our mission has always been to create memorable experiences that reflect Miami’s unique character.
“The Donatella Boutique Hotel is the ideal sister property to the former Versace Mansion, with its Neo-Mediterranean elegance and storied heritage. We are excited to make Donatella Restaurant the heart of this new project, offering world-class Italian cuisine within this stunning space.
“Partnering with Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group, renowned for their exceptional restaurant portfolio, was key to bringing this vision to life. Together, we’re excited to create an exclusive boutique escape where guests can enjoy seamless luxury blending relaxation and sophistication,” he added.
