Thompson Restaurants introduces Table Rewards loyalty

Thompson Restaurants, a division of Thompson Hospitality, is about to launch its Thompson Table Rewards Program, a new loyalty initiative.

The Reston, Va.-based company, which owns such restaurants as Hen Quarter and Makers Union, said the program will roll out in phases, beginning with a soft launch this month.

With a portfolio of 15 brands and more than 65 locations in Florida, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, Thompson Restaurants said the rewards program is designed to unify all its brands under one system.

Alex Berentzen, Thompson’s chief operating officer, said in a statement: “We want our guests to think of us as the regional trusted group for any occasion and reward them for it, and this program is designed to provide more value, convenience, and a connected dining experience across all of our brands.”

Customers can join the Thompson Table Rewards Program for free. They earn one point per $1 spent, with redemption milestones including:

    125 points = Free Dessert (up to $14)

  • 175 points = Free Appetizer (up to $18)

  • 250 points = $10 Reward

  • 1,000 points = $50 Reward

A spokesperson said Thompson Restaurants has moved its stores to one point-of-sale system and rolled out OLO and Engage at all of its properties.

Beyond everyday rewards, Thompson Table Rewards members enjoy special bonuses that include a free birthday dessert and a $5 registration reward.

Thompson Restaurants, founded in 1992, owns and operates 15 brands, including Makers Union, Matchbox, Big Buns Damn Good Burgers, Hen Quarter, Milk & Honey, and Wiseguy Pizza.
