Preferred adds 19 new hotels to portfolio

Preferred Hotels & Resorts added 19 properties to its portfolio during the first quarter of 2025. The new members joined between Jan. 1 and March 31 across 12 countries.

The additions span urban, resort, and countryside locations in Europe, Asia, North and South America. The brand’s I Prefer Hotel Rewards members can earn 2,500 bonus points on qualifying stays at participating properties for a limited time.

“We are delighted to welcome these 19 exceptional properties to our global portfolio in the first quarter of 2025,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. “This strategic expansion in 12 countries highlights our commitment to providing a diverse range of luxury experiences that cater to every type of traveler, and it serves as a strong foundation for continued growth and momentum throughout the year.”

Among the additions is Andronis Luxury Suites in Santorini, Greece, which is scheduled to reopen in May 2025 after renovations. The property offers 39 suites and villas and will feature a new taverna and an upgraded spa.

Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville, Va., joined under the L.V.X Collection. Located on 600 acres, it includes a golf course, racquet sports complex and the Birdwood Mansion, which will open in fall 2025 as a seven-room hotel and event venue.

Hotel Convent de la Missio in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, a former 17th-century convent, offers 27 rooms, a spa and rooftop terrace. It includes a Mediterranean restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef Marc Fosh.

NÓR Hotel & Spa in São Roque, Brazil, joined under the Lifestyle Collection. The 33-suite property includes a restaurant, outdoor pool, and wine cellar. It is located along a regional wine route near São Paulo.

The Archipelago in Yilan, Taiwan, overlooks Guishan Island and features 285 rooms, thermal baths and ocean-themed design. It is positioned for both family and wellness travelers.

  • Armani Hotel Milano, Italy – Legend Collection

  • Bellerive Lifestyle Hotel, Salò, Italy – Lifestyle Collection

  • Das Edelweiss Salzburg Mountain Resort, Austria – Legend Collection

  • Elevation Convening Center & Hotel, Montgomery, Ala. – Lifestyle Collection

  • Hotel Château Gütsch, Lucerne, Switzerland – Lifestyle Collection

  • Hotel Granados 83, Barcelona, Spain – Lifestyle Collection

  • Hotel Phoenix Centennial Yards, Atlanta, Ga.

  • Las Brisas Merida, Yucatán, Mexico – Lifestyle Collection

  • Opera Hotel Bosphorus, Istanbul, Turkey – Lifestyle Collection

  • OROS Luxury Beach Resort, Rethymno, Greece – L.V.X Collection

  • PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – L.V.X Collection

  • The Cooper, Charleston, S.C. – Legend Collection; Residences

  • The First Musica, Rome, Italy – L.V.X Collection
