Hilton will introduce its Tempo brand to Canada with a 193-room hotel expected to open in 2028. Tempo by Hilton Toronto Airport will be part of a mixed-use complex developed by Toronto-based Inspiration Group. The property will have direct access to Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The hotel will be Hilton’s first Tempo-branded property in Canada. It will join the company’s portfolio of more than 190 hotels in the country. Hilton expects to surpass 200 open hotels in Canada this year. The pipeline includes nearly 110 properties in various stages.

“The introduction of Tempo by Hilton Toronto Airport represents an exciting milestone as we continue to bolster our offerings of world-class brands across Canada,” said Matt Wehling, senior vice president, development, U.S. & Canada, Hilton. “We are fortunate to collaborate with visionary in-market owners like Inspiration Group to propel our efforts to introduce new brands across the destination to meet the evolving needs of our guests.”

Designed by Khalsa Design, the 16-story hotel will be located about 25 kilometers from downtown Toronto. Guestrooms will include three function zones, blackout curtains, wireless charging, adaptive lighting and a Get Ready zone. The property will offer four suites and dedicated Tempo Wellness rooms featuring Peloton equipment.

“Dedicated to meeting the needs of today’s ambitious and modern traveler, Tempo by Hilton Toronto Airport will offer an ideal location for guests looking to keep up with their routine on the road while finding time to relax and recharge,” said Kevin Morgan, brand leader, Tempo by Hilton. “We look forward to introducing Tempo by Hilton to Canada and welcoming guests to experience the brand’s spacious guest rooms, curated offerings to support well-being including the brand’s signature Spirited and Free-Spirited cocktail program, and more.”

Amenities will include a coffee bar, a Hydration Bar, an indoor pool and a fitness center with separate cardio, weights and recovery areas. The hotel will also feature more than 3,000 square feet of meeting space, including two ballrooms and four meeting rooms.

“We are incredibly honored and excited to partner with Hilton and collaborate with the Tempo by Hilton team to introduce the brand’s first property to Canada. This hotel will provide the perfect homebase for travelers in between journeys to ensure they feel rejuvenated,” said Javed Ali, founder & CEO, Inspiration Group. “Our strategic location near Toronto Pearson International Airport provides us with an opportunity to welcome guests from all over and provide them with an unforgettable lifestyle hotel experience.”
