B&B Hotels has launched a second property in the province of Seville as part of its ongoing expansion in the Iberian Peninsula.
B&B Hotels has opened the B&B Hotel Sevilla Bormujos, located in the municipality of Bormujos, approximately 7 kilometers from Seville’s city center and near Santa Justa station. The opening increases the group’s footprint in Andalusia to seven hotels and brings the total number of B&B Hotels in Spain to 59.
The new hotel features 99 rooms in double and triple configurations. It is situated within a commercial area and offers standard services including high-speed Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, buffet breakfast, Chromecast-enabled TVs, and complimentary hot beverages. The property operates under a long-term guaranteed lease as part of B&B Hotels’ asset-light growth strategy.
“Seville is a strategic location for B&B Hotels. We are very proud to have our first hotel in a city with such a strong tourist appeal and economic growth. Our B&B Hotel Sevilla Bormujos provides easy access to the city’s main attractions, while also offering high-quality, comfortable rooms. We are developing more hotels in the area. Our goal is to have five more properties in the coming years,” – Jorge Zelada, Chief Development Officer of B&B Hotels Spain & Portugal.
The hotel was developed by Retrada, a real estate partner of B&B Hotels in the region, with financing provided by Buenavista Andalucía Urbano II, SICC, SAU. The building has been constructed to align with the brand’s operational standards.
The Bormujos opening complements the existing B&B Hotel Écija in the province and aligns with the company’s goal of expanding further within Seville. Across the broader Andalusian region, B&B Hotels operates in cities including Jerez, Málaga, Granada, and Almería.
The brand currently manages more than 850 hotels across 17 countries and continues to pursue growth in Spain and Portugal, where it collectively operates 76 hotels and over 7,000 rooms.
