Accor strikes deal to manage three hotels in Australasia

Accor will manage three hotels in Australia and New Zealand after striking a partnership with Bayview International Hotels & Resorts. The agreement includes The Sydney Boulevard Hotel, Bayview Geographe Resort in Busselton and Wairakei Resort Taupo. All three hotels will undergo renovations before relaunching under Accor brands.

“This is an exciting milestone for Accor as we expand our presence in the Pacific. These three properties are well-loved by locals and visitors alike, and we are thrilled to bring them into the Accor family,” said Adrian Williams, COO for Accor in the Pacific.

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel has 277 guestrooms, 11 meeting spaces, a ballroom, restaurant, café and a top-floor meeting room with views of the CBD and Sydney Harbour.

Bayview Geographe Resort, located three hours south of Perth, includes 137 rooms, villas, an indoor heated pool, tennis court, golf putting green and beach access. Wairakei Resort Taupo has 187 guestrooms, a geothermal pool, nine-hole golf course, spa, dining outlets and conference spaces.

“With a comprehensive refurbishment plan in place, we can’t wait to unveil their refreshed identities and welcome even more travelers to these remarkable locations,” Williams said.

Camil Yazbeck, global chief development officer for Accor’s premium, midscale & economy division, said the deal reflects shared values between the two companies.

Bayview International Hotels & Resorts sas founded in 1993 and operates hotels across Asia and Oceania. Derek Yan, vice president of projects and product development, said the collaboration will enhance guest experiences.
