Andaz 5th Avenue in New York City has appointed Marshneil Bharadwaj as its new general manager.
A nearly 20-year Hyatt veteran, Bharadwaj brings a wealth of global experience to her new role. Her career has taken her from guest relations and boutique consulting roles at The Oberoi Raj Vilas and Le Meridien hotels to rooms experience at Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt Dubai to Hyatt’s largest Grand-branded property, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas.
Bharadwaj moved to New York City in 2022 to work as hotel manager at Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel. In her new role as general manager at Andaz 5th Avenue, she will lead all hotel operations, oversee strategic planning and guest experience initiatives and drive continued growth for the property.
Andaz 5th Avenue holds the title of the Andaz flagship property in the heart of Midtown New York. Located just a few steps from Bryant Park and the New York Public Library, the hotel features 184 rooms, 47 of which are suites and six with terraces overlooking the façade of the library.
