US: Airbnb has expanded beyond accommodation with the launch of Airbnb Services and a full relaunch of its Experiences platform in over 600 cities worldwide.

The newly introduced Airbnb Services product allows guests to book on-demand services at their accommodation or another location, including chefs, personal trainers, spa treatments, massage therapists, makeup artists and more.

Launched in 260 cities, the product is designed to enhance trips with added convenience and personalisation. The platform says it plans to expand both the service categories and the number of cities in the near future.

In parallel, the platform has relaunched its Experiences platform in 650 cities, introducing five new categories: History & Culture, Food & Drink, Nature & Outdoors, Art & Design, and Fitness & Wellness. The Experiences product aims to give travellers access to local culture through curated activities hosted by knowledgeable guides and community members.

As part of the revamp, Airbnb has also introduced Airbnb Originals – a premium tier featuring exclusive experiences hosted by well-known personalities and celebrities. Launch partners include singer Sabrina Carpenter and NFL star Patrick Mahomes, with further names to be added.
