Hyatt’s Gild Hall, A Thompson Hotel, has appointed Jonathan Blose as its new general manager as of April 14th, 2025.
With over 17 years of hospitality experience across the Hyatt portfolio, Blose began his career in hospitality in high school, working as a convention setup houseman at a Four Points Sheraton in Pittsburgh. Some of his previous roles include serving as director of operations at Hyatt Centric Times Square from 2021 to 2025; director of operations at Andaz San Diego; and associate director of rooms at Grand Hyatt San Diego, among others.
“Every hotel brings its own challenges, and every team teaches you something new,” he said. “Having worked in so many cities and types of properties gives me a broader reference point. It’s made me a more well-rounded leader and taught me that true success comes from understanding and supporting every member of your team, from convention setup to the executive office.”
Located in Lower Manhattan’s Financial District, the 130-room hotel opened in 2008 on historic Gold Street and is within walking distance of Wall Street, One World Trade and the revitalized Seaport District.
