Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group (Lodging Dynamics), a leading hotel management company, is pleased to announce the upcoming conversion of Park City Peaks Hotel into Hotel Thaynes, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Set to be completed in October 2025, the renovation will introduce a modern yet nostalgic take on mountain hospitality while preserving the property’s deep connection to Park City’s rich heritage.

The comprehensive renovation will transform the property, seamlessly blending common areas, guest rooms and other spaces with the Tribute Portfolio’s signature warm and eclectic design, highlighted by bold colors and striking art installations. Select accommodations will feature balconies, while expansive, spa-inspired bathrooms will include walk-in showers with high-end finishes and ample vanity space—creating a sophisticated yet relaxing space for guests to unwind after a day on the slopes or trails. Dedicated ski storage areas and premium in-room amenities will additionally cater to winter sports enthusiasts.

A highlight of the transformation is Versante Hearth + Bar, the hotel’s beloved on-site restaurant, which will continue to be an integral part of the property. Known for its inviting atmosphere and flavorful menu, Versante will maintain the dining experience that guests and locals already love while being seamlessly incorporated into the hotel’s refreshed design.

Situated in the heart of Park City, Utah, Hotel Thaynes is located just minutes from Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort, with convenient shuttle service to the slopes and Main Street’s vibrant shopping and dining scene. The hotel’s redesign takes inspiration from Park City’s pioneering spirit, paying homage to the legendary Thaynes Canyon mining district through thoughtfully curated artwork, design and immersive guest experiences.

In addition to its captivating new design, Hotel Thaynes will offer a variety of amenities to enhance guests’ experience year-round. Guests can unwind in the indoor pool and expanded sauna, or enjoy the heated outdoor pool and hot tub, perfect for year-round relaxation. The state-of-the-art fitness center and steam room are also available for those looking to stay active and rejuvenated. For those who prefer outdoor relaxation, fire pits and an outdoor BBQ area will provide the perfect setting for socializing.

“Park City has a one-of-a-kind spirit, and Hotel Thaynes will embody that energy while bringing a refreshing, boutique experience to visitors and the community,” said Jamie Caraher, president and CEO of Lodging Dynamics. “This renovation will enhance every aspect of the hotel, from the guest rooms to the social spaces, while embracing the indie spirit and character that make Tribute Portfolio hotels so special.”

During the renovation, the property will remain open, ensuring guests can continue to enjoy its warm and inviting atmosphere. Once complete, the reimagined boutique hotel will reflect the spirit of Park City through thoughtful design, local partnerships and countless opportunities to engage with the city’s lively culture and outdoor adventure offerings. As part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio – a growing global collection of independent hotels – Hotel Thaynes will blend captivating design, vibrant social spaces and a deep sense of community.

With over 150 hotels in nearly 30 countries and territories, Tribute Portfolio has become a destination for travelers seeking distinctive, boutique experiences that reflect the character of their surroundings. Hotel Thaynes will join this distinguished portfolio, offering an innovative perspective on Park City hospitality while remaining a hub for both guests and locals.

As a member of the Tribute Portfolio, Hotel Thaynes will participate in Marriott Bonvoy – the award-winning travel program from Marriott International – allowing members to earn and redeem points for their stay at the new hotel, and at other hotels and resorts across Marriott Bonvoy’s extraordinary portfolio of brands.
